In the interest of being corrected the two oldest boys let me know they want to be involved in the blogging world as well. As such I start tonight with a story on D, the oldest. This weekend mom is out of town with a group from her ballet studio. Knowing that is was a boys weekend I asked them what they wanted to do, now picture in your mind what you would expect the typical response would be from a group of boys being given the opportunity to do ANYTHING....as your mind ponders this if you are like me I was thinking bowling, movie, grandma's house, dinosaur museum etc.. However, the response I actually received was "I would like to go to the House of the Lord!!!!' He is definitely a spiritual giant. With that, we headed off the the new Draper Temple where they could see what it looks like before it is dedicated, it is absolutely stunning inside!! That explains the picture in their new church clothes. Cute aren't they:)
Tonight we arrived home late and I requested our three boys make sure that the dog has food and water. Shortly, after they all head downstairs to play video games. Thinking all is well I head upstairs to put some items in our laundry room. As I enter the laundry I notice the floor is wet, then as I look to the bathroom I notice the floor is really wet. Upon further examination I find that the bench where we put our shoes on is drenched as well. I head downstairs to begin my interrogation of the boys to see what may has caused this interesting situation. Quickly the two older boys go into denial mode and I look at T and ask if he knows what happened. With total pride he grins and yells "YEP!!!" Knowing he can't articulate the fine details I am looking for I ask him to show me what happened. He takes me upstairs and into the garage and proudly shows me that the dogs water dish, which holds more than a gallon of water, is completely empty.
